The nieces, Jordan and Sydney are spending a couple of days. I love having them here and they're old enough that they're not much work. Sydney is a little more because she's deaf so sometimes it takes repeating stuff a few times for her to be clued in, but hey, sounds like me most of the time!

Here's a few pics. They cooked dinner for me tonight, meaning they assisted me in the kitchen:  Jordan did the ribs, Sydney made the baked beans and mashed the potatoes:

You probably can't see it written on the cup, but the white cup on the right side of the table says "Brich's". Anyone old enough to even remember Brich's?   Or in its former incantation, Jonathan's? Spent a lot of time there when we were all young and worked at University Plaza. It's a Panera Bread restaurant now.  I miss Jonathan's. Brich's felt like a sell out at the time, but now they both seem equally like some piece of medieval history of this town.
